D’Amore Events Wedding | Downtown Indianapolis Photographers | Erica and Andy

FILED IN: Weddings

Standing on the 48th floor of Chase Tower, Indianapolis looks small down below. The Pyramids are visible, as tiny triangles close to the horizon, and other, closer landmarks are clearly visible as well, like the imposing Lucas Oil Stadium, the illustrious J.W. Marriott, the neoclassical Indiana War Memorial, and the venerable St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church where Erica and Andy were married a few hours before their reception in D’Amore Events. Even with such an enchanting view outside, as the sun was setting over the White River State Park while Victory Field’s lights slowly illuminated the Indianapolis Indians’ game being played below, none of the guests were caught staring out the windows. All of the guests eyes were focused squarely on Erica and Andy as they danced and whirled about the room. The two of them never seemed to stop moving, whether they were actually dancing or just dancing from conversation to conversation, lighting their guests’ eyes with a twinkle and making them smile as they laughed. It was a beautiful evening, and Steve and I were so happy that we were able to be a part of it.
