Erica & Johnathan’s well-thought-out wedding, was absolutely gorgeous. Everything seemed perfect and came together very well. I was amazed by Erica’s creativity, not only with the gorgeous decor, but the design of the programs and favors. There were personal touches to everything from the “something old” ring that was Erica’s father’s old wedding band, to the toms shoes on the brides & bridesmaids feet.
This is definitely one of my favorite weddings that I have shot. Several times during the wedding, I said, “I love this! This is why I love my job.” The entire family, wedding party, and vendors were so easy and helpful. The bride and groom are fun and gorgeous. The reception was so much fun- even for us. BUT what really topped it off was the sparkler send off. It wasn’t your normal send off. No, everyone lit their sparklers inside the reception venue and danced with them. It was probably the coolest thing I’ve ever seen done at a wedding. This wasn’t planned, but the Ritz Charles was very accommodating since it was raining outside. This is one of the few times I was really happy that it rained.
Erica & Johnathan: You two are the coolest! Not only did you have this gorgeous wedding but everyone had a blast! It’s people like you two that make me just love my job. I wish you both the best and hope to see you really soon! Best wishes!
This picture wasn’t planned and it was late in the evening, so it was a bit chaotic. I don’t know if it’s the memories of cracking up during the process or the outcome, but this picture makes me smile.
