Kate & Gustavo’s wedding was beautiful. Gustavo is originally from Brazil, so it was important that they incorporated some of the Brazilian wedding traditions into the ceremony. Bridesmaids and groomsmen stood beside them, as well as madrinhas & padrinhos. Married couples stood by them as a reflection of how they wanted their own marriage to look. A full mass was held and communion was served. After their rings were exchanged, they sealed their vows with a kiss, but they still shared the traditional kiss at the completion of the ceremony.

We thoroughly enjoyed the reception. The reception was held at the Horizon Convention Center in Muncie, IN. Kate and Gustavo arrived during the cocktail hour, and had a chance to mingle with their guests before the reception. Everyone was celebrating with the new Mr. & Mrs. even before the reception started, so I knew we were in for a joyful evening. During the reception the guests were really involved in the speeches, cheering and yelling out words of kindness to show their love and support. It was very apparent that this couple was loved immensely by their family and friends. The guests filled their dance floor, and it didn’t clear all night.

Their wedding was a wonderful celebration, not only for them, but all the guests that had the privilege to be involved.
