On a pleasant day near the end of summer, Kendra and Sam sat in a boat on a charming little pond. A slight breeze rippled the surface of the water and caused the foliage near the water to sway back and forth. The boat rocked gently on the surface of the pond, the sides dipping slightly into the water each time Sam and Kendra scooted closer together as balance was slowly restored to the boat. As the light from the sun turned to a golden hue, Sam took Kendra by the arm and kissed her tenderly on the forehead. Then, together, they stood in the boat and kissed again on the lips. As the boat swung back and forth from the movement, they leaned into each other to stay upright.

I had a great time capturing Kendra and Sam’s engagement session. They are such a fun couple! These high school sweethearts love to go fishing together, so we planned to do a lot of shots on and around the water. We were able to create a lot of lovely images. Steve and I are so excited to be capturing their wedding next summer!
