Basilica of the Sacred Heart | Notre Dame Wedding | Louann & Jack

FILED IN: Weddings

Green and purple leaves hung down from the vines growing on the brick wall, drooping over the top of the wrought iron gate. The leaves on the trees on the University of Notre Dame’s campus had started to change colors as the air shifted from feeling pleasantly warm like a late summer day to crisp like an autumn afternoon. Louann and Jack stood in the gateway, Jack’s arm wrapped tightly around Louann’s waist. Louann lifted her head and kissed Jack on the cheek. They smiled, giddy at the thought of having just been married at their alma mater.

Steve and I had such a great time capturing Louann and Jack’s amazing wedding. We just love having the opportunity to shoot on Notre Dame’s esteemed campus, so their wedding was a pleasure to capture. Jack and Louann met while attending Notre Dame, so being able to have their wedding there was very special for both of them. They had their reception in downtown South Bend at the Hilton Double Tree. It was a spectacular evening, and we are so blessed that we were able to capture it.
