Scottish Rite Cathedral | Indianapolis Wedding Photography | Madeline & Steve

FILED IN: Weddings

There was a slight haze over Indianapolis, turning the sky from it’s usual blue color to a shimmery silver. Under this light cover, Madeline and Steve stood with their wedding party at the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument in downtown Indianapolis. Madeline smiled radiantly and her eyes glimmered as they walked around the circle. She was the very portrait of happiness I always hope to find in a bride. As Steve and Madeline walked hand-in-hand, their wedding party following them, Steve gazed lovingly at Madeline. I loved how deeply in love they were with one another and how it was apparent throughout the entire day how happy they were to be married.

Steve and I are so happy that we were able to capture Madeline and Steve’s wedding. Their wedding was so beautiful and well thought out. Our favorite part was when they did their first dance down on the ballroom dance floor of the Scottish Rite while all of their guests were up on the second level balcony for the cocktail hour, looking down on the two of them in the spotlight. It felt like a scene from a movie. It was a beautiful day to be downtown, traveling from St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church to the circle and then to the Scottish Rite. We are so glad we were a part of their wedding day.
