Since it’s snowing in April, I thought I’d launch an old engagement session… when it was warm in December.

North Carolina native, Shelby, contacted me this past fall to do an engagement shoot while she was traveling with her fiancé, David, to visit his family for the holidays. They wanted to do a unique shoot. Since their spring wedding is just around the corner, we scheduled for the 1st of December and assumed the weather would be too cold for the outdoors. Indiana weather surprised me back then with a beautiful day, so we spent most of the shoot capturing outside around the canal & Monument Circle. It was so perfect that it felt like an early Christmas gift.

David is from the Indianapolis area, but attended college in North Carolina, where he met beautiful Shelby. I really had a blast spending this wonderful day outdoors with them. They were great in front of the camera! I was so happy with how the pictures came out, because they are just beautifully candid.
