The forest was dense, and the setting sun was only visible as two little dots of orange light poking through the verdant leaves. As twilight approached, Dean hugged Shelby, his strong arms wrapping around her shoulders and clutching her hands to her chest. Their new rings had a slight shine to them, even though they were fully in the shadows. Shelby turned her head slightly right and tilted it up, smiling as she caught Dean’s face in the corner of her eye.

Steve and I had so much fun capturing Shelby and Dean’s wedding. I struggle to make it through any wedding we shoot without tearing up once or twice, but this wedding even had Steve struggling to keep his composure, especially when Shelby and Dean read their vows to one another. I don’t think there was a dry eye amongst the guests either. This wedding may have been one of the most joyous weddings we’ve ever attended. Everyone was crying tears of joy for the bride and groom as they shared their personal stories of love and loss and how they came to fall for one another in their vows. We had such a great time capturing this wedding at the Edge Barn in Noblesville.
