The bridge at Coxhall Gardens had an easy three-centered arch, with a spacious sidewalk along the thin waterway at the center of the lake. The light of the sun reflected off the surface of the water and off the smooth, polished intrados of the archway underneath the bridge. Grace and Jordan paused on the walkway, next to the cattails, to talk. Their shadows melted together on the walkway as the two prepared to spend their lives together.

Capturing Grace and Jordan’s engagement session was a lot of fun. Their dress and demeanor was the perfect fit for the stately Coxhall Gardens. I was so grateful that on the day of the shoot we had such great weather, especially since the day before their shoot and the day after were stormy all day. As a result I was able to capture so many beautiful images of the two of them, drenched in sunlight. On top of that, I love when I have the opportunity to work with couples who are so clearly smitten with one another. There are so many great images from this shoot of the two of them dancing with one another and hugging and holding each other that were just natural interactions they had while transitioning between locations and poses.
