Last year I decided to have some fun with a Go Pro Hero 3 Black Edition. I took it with me while visiting my mom and shot some slow motion footage of my son swimming in my mom’s Hot Tub. I shot the whole thing in WVGA, which means I was able to shoot at 240 fps. It also means that I had to sacrifice in terms of resolution, and thus was only able to shoot at 480p (technically it was 848 x 480 but I had to downsize that to 720 x 480 while editing). It was an interesting project to say the least. When it comes to the nature of the low resolution of the video, for a video made to be viewed on an iPhone or iPad I think it looks great. On my Mac Pro, it’s really noticeable that it’s low resolution though.  Anyway, have a look at the video and see what you think for yourself.
