The rays of the setting sun were reflecting off the surface of the St. Joseph River and up onto the pedestrian bridge of the St Joe Pathway. Due to the ripple in the surface of the flowing waterway, the light seemed to shimmer and waver as it moved across the bridge. In the middle of the bridge, Michael hugged Meghan from behind and as the nestled into each other they closed their eyes. We had such a great time shooting portraits with Meghan and Michael before their Ceruti wedding reception.

The day started at Blackhawk Ministries Church. It’s such a great space with tons of window light which we made use of while shooting all the detail shots. Meghan had gorgeous emerald earrings and Michael had custom made Nike shoes. After their ceremony at Blackhawk we headed over to IPFW’s campus to do some photos down by the St. Joseph river. Then finally we went to Ceruti Banquet and Event Center which they had decorated in the most gorgeous way. There was drapery hanging from the ceiling and giant round lanterns. The whole place was spectacular, but I’ll stop writing about it now because there are pictures below after all.
