{Engaged: Jackie & Joe}

FILED IN: Engagements

I was so excited for this engagement. The incorporation of vintage cameras and bikes was right up my alley. I had a vintage beach cruiser all through college and it’s probably obvious why I love vintage cameras (does any photographer not love vintage cameras?).The Proposal
Jackie and Joe fell in love in college. Taking walks in the historic district of their hometown was a big part of their dating relationship. Joe realized that it was special enough to incorporate into a proposal, and gave her a very special story to share with everyone.
From their site, “Joe asked Jackie to make an engagement chicken recipe she had been wanting to try and jokingly told her that it might actually get him to propose. As dinner was cooking, they went on their routine evening walk in the park in the Oregon District. Joe had commissioned an artist to stage a caricature drawing at the gazebo in the middle of the park where he was practicing for an upcoming event. As they were walking by, the artist stopped them and asked if he could draw the two of them. As the artist was finishing the sketch, he had Jackie take a look at the finished work and with a stunned look on her face, she turned around to see Joe down on one knee, with a ring.”
I had so much fun with them both and I can’t wait to see their personalities shine throughout their wedding day!

Thanks so much, Jackie & Joe. It was so wonderful getting to know your story!  I can’t wait to  see the next one begin!
