Sam & Matt: Married! | Columbus Wedding photography

FILED IN: Weddings

High school sweethearts, Sam and Matt, finally tied the knot! Their beautiful wedding was held at Community Church of Columbus in Columbus, IN. Their wedding colors were bright, and the bright colors complimented their bubbly wedding party perfectly and flooded the reception hall.
Sam and her mother created the decor throughout the reception. I was amazed to hear that her mother actually made all the bridesmaid dresses, bouquets/boutonnieres, and she even made her own dress! She was unbelievably humble about it as well.

Sam is a lover of pictures and sentimental keepsakes, so a table with a timeline, old boutonnieres, pictures of themselves, and pictures of their parents’ wedding days was a wonderful personal touch. The guests loved it as well.

After Steve had seen their timeline (listing off the first day they met, when he said “I like you”, etc), he decided to quiz me about our relationship. As far as I’m concerned, I totally won, although I couldn’t remember the date of when he said I love you… but neither could he. Apparently we should have wrote these things down.

Sam and Matt decided a few years back to save their next kiss for their wedding day. We were very happy to capture their second first kiss… and many after that.

Matt & Sam: Thank you for letting us be a part of your day! We hope the scrapbook of your wedding day will always bring you two good memories. Best wishes!
