{Wedding: Katie and Dan} mindBLOWING love!

FILED IN: Weddings

The wind was insane. 40-50 mph for an outdoor wedding can be tricky, but Katie & Dan made it happen!
It seemed to be one of the focuses at the beginning of the day, but as soon as they had their revealing the family had a much happier outlook, Katie and Dan were getting married this day.  They made the outdoor ceremony work by having only the things that made it official outdoors, the “i dos” and of course ending it with a kiss.  They finished up the ceremony at the reception location so the guest didn’t have to stay in the crazy wind.

Katie said to me right after the ceremony, “It’s an indescribable feeling walking down that aisle. It’s so wonderful.”  I responded with, “And you get to do it twice!” They ended their first half with a boat send off and head towards the reception hall for the remainder of the ceremony.  It was very important to both of them that ceremony continued and that their guest heard the message the pastor was going to give.

They are beautiful (like that needed to be said) and such caring people!  I loved shooting Dan and Katie’s wedding, not only for their love of pictures & cooperation, but for their beautiful hearts and genuine kindness.  What a blessing it was to have the opportunity to capture their love.
