Wedding: Sabrina and Andrew

FILED IN: Weddings

Who would have thought October 9th, 2010 would be so warm! It was a perfect day for a wedding! This was a very challenging wedding for me, but I’m always up for a challenge. Along with carrying my heavy equipment and a 6 month pregnant belly, I had a bouquet tucked in somewhere. I absolutely love the challenge of bridesmaid/wedding photographer. This made for a VERY early morning of styling my hair, which I’m terrible at. I’ve realized how much more I love to be behind the camera than in front. Although… I would do it all over again. It was an absolute privilege to be a part of their wedding.
We decided on the Prairie Creek Reservoir for the intimates. Sabrina always wanted to have wedding photos on the beach near the ocean, so we tried to accommodate for the fact that we were in the middle of the Midwest.
They both looked like they stepped out of a bridal magazine. Andrew could not stop talking about how gorgeous Sabrina was and how lucky he was. I always feel so blessed to be a part of weddings where the actual wedding is about the love of two people and the details are the least of their worries.
I’m so encouraged by the love you share for each other. Thank you SO MUCH for letting me be a part of your wedding in so many ways. Andrew, I’ll never forget the way you treated your bride, I believe that those feelings will only grow for her. Sabrina, you were such a beautiful bride and I’m so glad I was able to spend the ENTIRE day with you!!! I love you both!

Thanks to Andrew Lang for the help on this shoot!
I’m the second girl from the left of the picture, attempting to hide my baby bump.
