Louie’s Wine Dive Engagement with Ali and Eric

FILED IN: Engagements

Big tungsten bulbs lit up a sign that read, “Wine Club” on the wall of Louie’s Wine Dive. Standing under the sign, and under a chandelier made of empty wine bottle, Ali and Eric stood with glasses in hand. They were sharing a drink at one of their favorite places in Indianapolis. I had so much capturing this moment, and all the other wonderful moments, from Ali and Eric’s wonderful engagement shoot at Louie’s Wine Dive.

We ended the shoot at Louie’s Wine Dive, but we started at historic Lockerbie. We shot for a while on the cobblestone street. Eric in a white long sleeve shirt and Ali in a custom denim jacket. On the back of her jean jacket, in bold white letters, it reads, “11.07.20 Mrs. Malm.” I loved this! They also brought a board with them that read “The Malms” on one side and “11-17-2020” on the other side. It had two holes in it which fit little glasses and they drank from the glasses and the board at the same time. It was so much fun. I loved these little details.

Did you love this Louie’s Wine Dive engagement shoot?

If you loved this shoot, then check out some of our other recent work!

Firstly, check out this whimsical engagement shoot with Victoria and Mike at Saint Joseph Brewery! Victoria and Mike’s engagement shoot was so much fun! It doesn’t hurt that it was at a brewery Steve and I love. The first time we went to the brewery it was to watch the USMNT play. They won their game that day, which meant the brewery will forever hold a special place in our heart. The beer and food was great also. Victoria and Mike’s engagement shoot didn’t involve any soccer, but there was beer drinking which is always fun.

Also, check out this amazing engagement session with Danielle and Steve at the Alley Cat Lounge! Danielle and Steve are related to the owners of Alley Cat Lounge, so we got special permission to shoot inside. It was so much fun. We absolutely love the Alley Cat Lounge. It’s a great place for date nights or just for hanging out with friends.

Lastly check out this fun engagement shoot with Meredith and Jake at the Aristocrat Pub! Do you ever walk into a new place and just instantly fall in love? Well, that’s the experience I had at the Aristocrat Pub. This shoot was my first time inside, but it won’t be my last. I loved this place. We also did some photos at Butler University too.

If you loved the shoot pictured above, then check out Louie’s Wine Dive. You won’t regret it. It’s a fantastic wine bar and restaurant in downtown Indianapolis.
