By the fireplace in the lounge of the the Alexander, Jared leaned over and rested his forehead against the side of his fiancée’s head. Leaning in close to Emily’s ear, he whispered something through the fair strands of her hair. I couldn’t hear what he said, but a soft smile bloomed on Emily’s face, so I knew it was sweet. I love working with couples who know how to make each other smile. That intimate, innocent emotion they share cannot help but to transfer itself into wonderful, honest photos.

I am so glad I was able to capture Emily and Jared’s engagement photos. They are such a sweet couple. Jared was Emily’s brother’s roommate. After Emily had finished running a marathon, she went to dinner to celebrate and her brother invited Jared. That was the first opportunity Emily and Jared had to really get to know each other, and they really hit it off. I am so excited to be capturing their wedding this coming April in Kokomo
