Camp friends, turned college sweethearts, Ashley and Eric are such a wonderful couple. Time just seemed to fly by during their session. Ashley and Eric’s relationship really progressed on Ball State University’s campus, so it only felt right to incorporate it into the engagement shoot. Ashley and Eric told me some wonderful stories while standing in the spot where Eric said he knew he wanted to ask Ashley to be his wife. We also walked through the building in which they both worked during their schooling. I also learned something new about my alma mater. Apparently if you kiss in front of Beneficence, an angel statue near the administrative building, she will flap her wings if it’s true love. I also heard she holds all of the students’ tuition in her treasure box.

It was so wonderful spending an evening with both Eric and Ashley. I have a feeling their wedding is going to be filled with joy, lots of happy tears, and celebration. I can’t wait!
