Carmel At-Home Engagement with Sara and Joe

FILED IN: Engagements

The sun hung low in the sky. The leaves on the trees caught its light, keeping it from gracing the ground below. Sara and Joe stood in the dappled shade, under the trees, reveling in each other’s company. The two of them looked to be perfectly in love and at home with one another. We had so much fun capturing these charming Carmel at-home engagement photos with Sara and Joe last summer.

Did you love this Carmel At-Home Engagement session?

If you loved the photos in this blog post, then check out some of our other recent blog posts for more gorgeous photos.

Firstly, check out this beautiful engagement session with Kate and Jordan in West Clay. Kate and Jordan’s engagement session had a great small town feel to it. We love shooting in West Clay in Carmel because it has this gorgeous but quaint vibe that makes everyone feel welcome and at home. Kate and Jordan really lit up this small town with their smiles.

Also, check out this sweet engagement session with Priscilla and Sam. Their engagement photos were in Fountain Square. Fountain Square is a vibrant neighborhood in Indianapolis that features a lot of great art work. There are of course the wonderful fountains in Fountain Square, but then there is also lots of graffiti art on the walls of buildings. The graffiti is colorful and adds some beautiful pops of color to the background of photos.

Lastly, check out this charming engagement session with Hannah and Cole. Their engagement session took place in Zionsville. Much like West Clay, Zionsville has a great small town feeling to it. Everything is walkable and there are gorgeous little shops everywhere. It is such a welcoming community for photos as well as everyone is always so kind.

If you’re planning to do some engagement photos and looking for a good location, then check out our blog post of the best locations in the Indy area.

If you love the feel of these photos then consider visiting Carmel. The whole area is gorgeous year round, but especially in late spring and summer.
