So what is trendy in Indy? We’ve seen some classic wedding dress trends in 2019. Here are a few dresses from the past year that have caught our eye.
Straps & Sleeves
Isn’t it time for us to be comfortable on our wedding day? Are the days of us pulling up the top of our sleeveless dress gone? Probably not, but we can enjoy this wonderful trend of dresses with straps while it’s here.
Sheer and Sexy
Sheer has been the most popular trend. Almost every dress that we’ve seen recently has had a sheer neckline, arms, chest, or even legs. New textures and fabrics make this 80s inspiration much more modern and sexy.
Ball gowns are back! Floral is really in right now.
Sleek and Simple
It feels as though everything has been going towards the minimalist direction. It’s not just tiny homes and Marie Kondo telling us to throw out anything that doesn’t bring us joy, fashion is starting to favor a more simple look as well. Sleek and simple is a classic look that always comes back into style.
Unique Accessories
Coats, belts, and embroidery are great ways to make your dress uniquely yours.
Fur/Faux coats are one of the reasons why winter weddings are so glam Sierra picked a dress that is not your “traditional” dress and it looked absolutely elegant and stunning.
If you like to keep a lookout for the latest trends, these are expected to be big in 2020/2021
