I’ve patiently waited to post this blog. I’ve sat here with my hand on the publish button for a week. I absolutely adore Ashley and Marcus and their wedding. I loved the personal touches and how they let their personalities show in the details. Ashley & Marc were married on the St. Joe River in Bristol, near Elkhart, Indiana. It was a private wedding in Ashley’s mother’s backyard. The ceremony was romantic and the reception was full of laughter. I don’t think the day could have gone any better than it did. The rain was romantic. Honestly, when it started to sprinkle Ashley said, “I love rain.” It couldn’t have fit this day more perfectly.

Instead of a unity candle, the couple watered a plant together. Ashley owns Fierce Forward, a successful health & fitness business.

I absolutely loved how they incorporated things that they both love in such a subtle way, like the skulls.

Aren’t the floating flower candles just lovely?
