The midday sun was shining through the leaves of the tree, leaving a speckled pattern of light and shadow on the sidewalk in the park. It was one of the last warm days of autumn, and the leaves on the trees were a dark shade of green as they began preparations to change color before falling. Erica and David walked down the pathway, Erica holding her dress up as David lovingly guided her with a hand on the small of her back. They looked at each other while walking and smiled. No mere furtive, flirting glance, but a look of love and deep longing as they prepared for a lifetime together.
Steve and I had a lot of fun capturing Erica and David’s wedding in Louisville, Kentucky. They are such a kind couple, and their guests and family members were all incredibly kind as well. It was a great way to spend a Saturday. Not only was the wedding great, but it was also nice to have a night away from the kids. On the way down to Louisville, Steve and I stopped at 450 North Brewing Company in Columbus, Indiana for some of the best pizza the state of Indiana has to offer. It was altogether a lovely weekend, and we’re so thankful Erica and David chose us to capture their wedding.
