He found her on the balcony, looking out at the city. It was half way through their reception, and Lauren had stepped out on the balcony to get some fresh air. Allen walked up behind his bride and put an arm around her shoulders. She looked up at him and smiled. They were able to share a brief moment alone during their wedding looking out at the city in which they live.
Three years prior to this celebration, Lauren and Allen took a trip to Breckenridge together and on the trip out to Colorado devised a plan to marry. Colorado allows people to marry one another without an officiant or witness present. As a result, they were able to officially marry all alone on a mountainside looking out at the wilderness they were visiting.
Lauren and Allen had a fantastic wedding ceremony and reception at Canal 337 in downtown Indianapolis. They had some amazing floral arrangements and decorations. Steve and I were thrilled that they chose us to capture their great event, and the rehearsal dinner the night before at the Colts Grille! We had so much fun!
