The water of the lake lapped gently against the side of the dock. The sound was steady and soothing, like a lullaby playing over and over again. Lauren and Allen sat at the end of the dock, on the weathered wooden planks. On the shore behind them were a number of row boats resting peacefully. Allen held Lauren close as they stared off over the placid surface of the lake.

I had a great time shooting Lauren and Allen’s engagement session. The overcast sky made it easy to capture beautiful images of the two of them. Steve and I are really looking forward to capturing their wedding this weekend. It is going to be a lot of fun.
