I feel so blessed to have the opportunity to capture Lucas & Loryn’s engagement session AND wedding!  Although the couple was a bit nervous when we started off, they were able to rock the pictures like no other.
We had the session at Loryn’s family farm.  It was great to incorporate something a bit more sentimental.  I really love visiting farms. I don’ t think that I have the patience or stamina to run one myself, but I really do appreciate the lifestyle. One of my favorite parts about the property were the chickens in the yard.  I attempted to catch one, but apparently chickens know I eat them.  I did end up adopting a new cat friend.

Lucas was hilarious. He was cracking me up with his facial expressions and comments about making the shoot as simple as possible. They seem like they have so much fun together.

Loryn and I found out that we went to junior high together (for 1 year) before I moved to a different school system. It was so nice to see what a small world it is with all the connections we had. Honestly, after hanging out with them both and capturing a few pictures during the time, I felt like I had known them for a long time.
