Kate & Gustavo are such an amazing couple.  I had a wonderful time getting to know them both.  Kate is originally from New Castle.  Gustavo is from Brazil. A random connection brought these two together at a wedding. They now live out of state while Gustavo pursues his PhD.
I’ve lived in this area for most of my life and have visited New Castle on a few occasions.  It’s a small town and I assumed there wasn’t much to visit, so I was shocked when I walked into the Arts Park.  I was expecting a small park with a few flowers, but instead it was full of flowering trees, small trails, and beautiful landscaping.  This is all in the middle of downtown, surrounded by roads and train tracks, but the landscaping hides most of the city.  It’s easy to say that I was extremely impressed.

One of the great things about this shoot was Kate’s family and Gustavo’s mother joined us!  It worked out that his mom was visiting the week of the shoot, so I had the chance to meet their families before the wedding.  It’s easy to see why Kate and Gustavo are so kind, both of their families are extremely sweet. This makes me very excited to work with them!
