Rachel and Ian are married! I’m so excited to be sharing their wonderful day with everyone!

Rachel & Ian were married at the Centennial Bible Church in Westfield, IN. The bride, the mothers, and the bridesmaids enjoyed their morning getting ready at The Beauty Lounge, located in Carmel. We’ve captured getting ready wedding pictures here before, including when Rachel was a bridesmaid for her sister-in-law’s wedding. This is definitely one of my favorite salons!

Rachel and Ian had a revealing in the Kawachinagano Japanese Garden in Carmel, IN, right off the Monon Trail. This is the park in which Ian proposed to Rachel. It was incredibly touching that that they chose to have their revealing in the same place that they became engaged. This is an incredibly romantic location for a first look. It was such an honor to witness Ian seeing his bride for the first time, as well as seeing Rachel’s face light up when she saw his reaction.

After the ceremony, the new Mr. and Mrs. made their exit through bubbles, with beautifully crafted get-a-way decor. They headed to the Plum Creek Golf Course to kick off their wedding celebration. It was a packed reception, with guests who were anxious to celebrate the happy couple, and lots of delicious food catered by Sahm’s.

I say this a lot, but we seriously have the best couples. Ian & Rachel were just fabulous, and they come from two wonderful families. We had such a wonderful time capturing their portraits and working with them through the planning. They have been nothing but sweethearts. It’s always a little bittersweet finishing up these weddings, but we have lasting memories of their wonderful day that we will cherish for a long time!

On a side note, congratulations to Ian as the new kicker for the Purdue University football team! Good luck with your season. We’ll be cheering on the Boilermakers for sure!!!
