The sun slowly slid behind the Hilbert Conservatory at the Indianapolis Zoo, sending brilliant orange rays across the White River. Standing on the pedestrian bridge over the river, Rebecca and Jake held each other close. Jake brushed a wisp of hair out of Rebecca’s face, and then leaned down and kissed her.
