Shena and Bernie wanted to throw a party that there friends and family would enjoy. I definitely think they accomplished this. If you are looking for a way to keep your guests entertained until the end of the night, then this wedding is for you.
Shena and Bernie waited until the ceremony to see each other for the first time that day. Tears were shed as Shena was walked down the aisle by her sister and mother. The ceremony was beautiful and ended happily with the newly wedded couple greeting their guests.
Although they had a very traditional ceremony, the reception was not your typical reception. People were encouraged to get food whenever they wanted, and to dance when they liked. Drinks were served during cocktail hour and throughout the night. After dinner was closed at 9pm, another course was prepared to be served at 10pm. A pretzel bar with many dipping sauces, mini burgers, and mini milk shakes were enough to re-energize all the guests, so they could continue to celebrate the night with the happy couple.
I really think this is where weddings are heading. They were both definitely ahead of the game. We had an absolute blast. Definitely one of those weddings where we couldn’t believe where the time had gone. They were such a wonderful couple and we feel so thankful that we were able to witness such a beautiful day in their lives.
Shena had all these cups made for her bridesmaids.
