Botanical Gardens Engagement with Kristin & Ben at the Indianapolis Zoo

FILED IN: Engagements

Ever have one of those shoots where the dolphins just won’t seem to cooperate with what you’re trying to do? Well, thankfully, even though the dolphins at the zoo wouldn’t cooperate, Kristin and Ben were lovely! It was a freezing cold day, but Kristin and Ben wanted a shoot that felt warmer and a little bit more tropical. So we got to shoot the majority of this engagement shoot in the Botanical Gardens at the Indianapolis Zoo. It was still a little too cold for the butterflies that usually inhabit the building, but it was perfect for this shoot. Steve just loved capturing this Indianapolis Zoo Botanical Gardens engagement session with Kristin and Ben!

If you loved this engagement session with Kristin and Ben, then check out some of our other recent shoots!

Firstly check out this endearing engagement session with Jylian and Bertram at Tinker House Coffee! This was another engagement session that Steve captured! This shoot was full of wonderful moments and has a look to it that is unique to the Tinker House. There are just so many tungsten lights and ropes and interesting areas in that building!

Also, check out this stunning engagement shoot with Hope and Tyler at the Indianapolis War Memorial Museum! Steve did this shoot just a few days before Hope and Tyler’s wedding. The plan was to just get them comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day. The shoot was killer though and one of our favorites!

But also, check out this charming engagement shoot with Makenzie and Kyle at the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument in Downtown Indianapolis! This shoot was so much fun! Steve loved getting to know them both and can’t wait to capture their wedding!

Lastly, check out this show-stopping engagement shoot with Maggie and Timo! This engagement shoot was rainy and sunny! It was one of those rare days where the weather comes together to create something perfect and beautiful! Steve captured these photos beautifully.
