What a roller coaster the week leading up to Grace and Nathan’s wedding was with the new restrictions set by Indianapolis’ mayor. But luckily, things worked out in their favor and they didn’t have to move location or make massive cuts to their guest list a day before their wedding. Also, thankfully the thing that matters most still happened. Specifically, Grace & Nathan were able to get married! They had a lovely wedding at Saint John the Evangelist Catholic Church followed by a delightful reception at the Indiana Roof Ballroom.
Walking into the room everyone was getting ready in about brought me to tears, because all of their hard work and perseverance got them to this moment – their original wedding day in 2020. I thought that would be it on the day, but I was wrong. I started tearing up at the ceremony, because Nathan teared up as he saw Grace walk through the church doors. It was a beautiful. I just love getting to experience these moments.
Between the ceremony and the reception, we hit up a few different places for portraits. We went to the canal, then to the War Memorial, and finally to Monument Circle. It was nice to get some time outside with the couple and their wedding party on such a beautiful summer day!
The party at the Indiana Roof Ballroom was amazing. There was an entire giant ball room filled with masked guests still enjoying themselves and having fun. This was a great experience and made us realize it’s possible to have a safe and fun wedding in 2020. We’re so glad we were able to spend this amazing day with Grace and Nathan and their family and friends!
A big thanks to all the vendors that helped make this day so amazing!
