The soft morning light filtered down through the trusses of a pedestrian bridge over the Central Canal in Broad Ripple. It was early in the morning, so the crowd of people that typically flood the streets of Broad Ripple and bring the area to life were still slumbering in their beds, blinds closed firmly sheltering them from this beautiful sight. This alluring neighborhood in Indianapolis was still sleeping, groaning at the first signs of a new day, as the birds and insects were heralding the arrival of the sun. The charming rays of sunlight greeted Jaclyn and Tyler as they stood hand-in-hand on a warren truss bridge over the canal, delighted by each other’s company and the emptiness of the neighborhood at this hour. The light was fantastic and so were Jaclyn and Tyler that morning. I had a lot of fun capturing these images with the two of them throughout Broad Ripple and on the lovely Rainbow Bridge just down the Canal from the first bridge. Steve and I really look forward to capturing their wedding this New Years Eve.
