Hilbert Circle Theatre New Year Eve Wedding | Husband and Wife Photography Team | Jaclyn and Tyler

FILED IN: Weddings

The temperature was only 28 degrees Fahrenheit, but it felt much colder outside with the slight breeze blowing through Monument Circle. Jaclyn, Tyler and I left the Hilbert Circle Theater, somewhat timidly due to the cold weather in downtown Indianapolis a little while after the sun set for the last time on 2015. Tyler, who works for the Indianapolis Power and Light Company, had convinced his company to light up the IPL building with a special pattern for his and Jaclyn’s wedding day. From the steps of the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, two giant hearts can be seen lit up in the windows of the IPL building. While taking a few seconds to look at the special light display, Jaclyn and Tyler huddled close together for warmth, their breath visible in the night air. It was a fantastic moment, and Steve and I had so much fun ringing in the New Year at Jaclyn and Tyler’s wedding.
