Holcomb Gardens Winter Engagement Shoot with Stephanie and Jonathan

FILED IN: Engagements

It was almost spring, but the cold winter air still hung heavy in the air. Stephanie and Jonathan brought a lot of warmth to this chilly shoot! Their happiness was contagious! I felt myself smiling the whole time we were shooting. Even if we didn’t have any snow to go with the chilly weather. We’re so happy to share their Holcomb Gardens engagement session from right at the end of winter.

One of my favorite parts of the shoot was hearing Stephanie and Jonathan tell me the story of their first date. Jonathan asked Stephanie to go out with him, and then asked her if she’d want to go out on his boat. Jonathan just thought it would be a great way to get to know her by doing something he loves with her. Stephanie on the other hand wasn’t so sure about going out on a boat in the ocean with someone she didn’t know that well. So, they had a little choppy water before the first date, but thankfully it’s all smooth sailing now. Okay, I’ll stop with the cheesy metaphors.

Did you love this Holcomb Gardens winter engagement shoot?

If you loved this shoot, then check out some of our other shoots at Holcomb Gardens!

Firstly, check out this sweet engagement shoot at Holcomb Gardens with Brooke and Mike! Brooke and Mike’s engagement shoot was a little different though because it took place in the middle of summer. So they had a bit more greenery.

Also, check out this wonderful wedding with Bertram and Jylian! Between their ceremony and their reception, we stopped off at Holcomb Gardens to do a few photos. Butler University means a lot to the two of them, so they wanted to incorporate it into their wedding photos.

Lastly, check out this sweet engagement shoot with Chrissy and Kris at Eagle Creek Park! This is over on Redwood Lane. Steve shot this engagement session, and everything you find over there.
