As the sun began to set in Columbus, Indiana, the Inn at Irwin Gardens’s shadow began to stretch like a cat waking up from a nap. Moments later, before the wedding was set to start, that shadow would stretch out over the sunken garden and start climbing its way up the steps toward the tea house. As dusk approached, the Inn seemed to be waking and preparing the gardens with a lovely shade from the harsh sunlight, just in time for the wedding ceremony.
At the end of the ceremony, the officiant pronounced Natalie and Blake to be husband and wife, and they shared their first kiss. Immediately after the kiss, Natalie raised her right arm, holding her gorgeous bouquet, in an exuberant moment of celebration. As Blake and Natalie walked down the aisle, past their happy guests, they both had the largest smiles brightening up their faces. Steve and I love to witness this pure joy at weddings, and we are so glad we were able to capture these moments at Natalie and Blake’s marvelous celebration.
