Lincoln Park | Chicago Engagement | Madeline & Steve

FILED IN: Engagements

Clouds hung low over the city blurring the skyline with a gray haze of precipitation. As a result, Chicago looked less like a tangible city in the background and more like the dream of a city. Madeline and Steve stood on the deck on top of their house with the aspiration of downtown extant through the silvery haze behind. The allure of the city could not hold a candle to their charming personalities or the adorable way they interacted with each other though. Their love was palpable throughout the shoot, and I’m so glad I was able to capture it.

Rarely do I travel by myself, but it was completely worth it for this couple. Madeline & Steve are not only madly in love, but they are also two kind souls who were a blast to walk around Lincoln Park with on this cloudy Chicago evening. After the shoot, they treated me to these amazing Korean Tacos at Del Seoul Korean Street BBQ. I love trying new restaurants when I travel. It’s pretty much the reason I travel. Del Seoul Korean Street BBQ did not disappoint. I just wish there was a location closer to Indy! Their shrimp tacos are made of my happiest dreams. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Madeline & Steve. Their wedding day is really going to be a special one to remember!
