Morgan Acres Wedding | Indianapolis Wedding Photographers | Rochelle & Sam

FILED IN: Weddings

As Sam and Rochelle prepared to cut their wedding cake, the waning light of the sun trickled through gaps between the barn’s thick, wood board siding, creating lovely golden lines of sunlight on the floor of the barn at Morgan Acres. I stood on wooden timbers that had been cut down over 150 years ago while capturing Sam and Rochelle cutting their cake, and I felt incredibly young. My husband, Steve, and I have been married for seven years, and we have one son and one daughter on the way. I usually feel old when Steve and I are capturing weddings, shooting young couples in love who are just embarking on a journey through life together, but standing in a building that was constructed before Lincoln was President took that feeling right out of me.

Steve and I had so much fun capturing Sam and Rochelle’s wedding. Sam had an infectious smile, and whenever he glanced at Rochelle his face lit up with happiness. Rochelle was beautiful and so sweet on her wedding. It was a great day, and we are so glad we were able to witness it.
