The warm sun shined down through the humidity, backlighting Bryana and Darnel. They stood holding hands in the Four Seasons Garden at Newfields, after their ceremony had ended. Their bridal party and guests had all walked back to the reception in the Deer Zink Pavilion, and they were enjoying a few moments alone in the brilliant sunlight. We are so happy we were able to capture this beautiful moment and so many more during their wonderful Newfields wedding!
This wedding was so much fun! From the moment we arrived at Darnel’s AirBNB to do getting ready photos till we left at the end of the night it felt like a whirlwind of fun! Bryana had the most beautiful getting ready suite in the Alexander Hotel and a gorgeous first look with her father in the lobby. Steve and I love shooting there. The artwork and design of that hotel is beautiful.
Bryana and Darnel were married behind the Lily House and they brought some serious Savannah vibes to the ceremony. Those Savannah vibes didn’t stop there though. The whole reception location, the Deer Zink Pavilion in the Indianapolis Museum of Art, had that Savannah vibe too. It was astounding! Then their first dance included a dry ice machine so they could get that dancing in the clouds effect! It was gorgeous. I’ll stop writing now though, and let you look at all these gorgeous photos!
A big thanks to all the vendors that helped make this Newfields wedding so spectacular!

Did you love these photos from this Indianapolis Museum of Art wedding?
If so, check out these other shoots we’ve done recently!
Firstly, check out this adorable engagement shoot with Bryana and Darnel! We did Bryana and Darnel’s engagement shoot at Eagle Creek Park! Eagle Creek is one of our favorite places to shoot in Indianapolis! The park is big and beautiful and there are so many gorgeous places to shoot there! I remember coming home from this engagement shoot and looking at Steve and saying, “I just met the most wonderful couple!” I knew even back then I would love capturing their wedding!
Also, check out this charming wedding at the Indianapolis Museum of Art with Daniel and Alex! Just a few weeks before Bryana and Darnel’s event, we were at Newfields capturing another gorgeous wedding! This event space is astonishing and we love shooting there! This wedding was so much fun to capture and Daniel and Alex were such sweethearts.
Lastly, check out this cute engagement session with Angela and John at the IMA! We love shooting in this space, and we’re so thankful Angela and John loved it too! The way the sunlight comes shining through the tree leaves is absolutely gorgeous! Plus, Angela and John were just delightful people and I’m so glad I was able to do some photos with the two of them!
