“A peerless princess thou shalt be,
Through wit of love’s rare sorcery“
-James Whitcomb Riley from his poem Some Songs After Master Singers
Cheralyn approached Jordon on the mezzanine of the Hilton Garden Inn, outside of the James Whitcomb Riley room in which she and her bridesmaids had prepared themselves for the wedding day. The soft light filtering through the translucent curtains highlighted her golden hair and silhouetted her fair form in profile. Jordon turned to see her standing there, her eyes like split rays of sunshine blinding him with their beauty. It was an intimate moment that I was lucky to witness and capture.
After the first look at the Hilton Garden Inn, the bride and groom moved on to the Scottish Rite Cathedral for their wedding ceremony and reception. The ceremony was held in the Scottish Rite Cathedral’s magnificent theater and was immediately followed by a lovely cocktail hour on the mezzanine overlooking the ballroom, the ballroom where the reception was held later on that night. It was a fantastic night, and we had a lot of fun capturing all of the great moments in downtown Indianapolis.
