I am standing in an alleyway, next to a parking garage, with Jodie and Todd. I am laughing, again. Jodie and Todd keep making me laugh. I don’t know if I’m just self-conscious, or if my laughter really is being channelled down the alleyway, like a megaphone, and blasting out onto the street behind them. I’m sure I’m just self-conscious. I am having fun though. It is a cool day toward the end of spring in downtown Indianapolis, and there’s no trace of the morning’s rain left. The rain brought in some colder weather, and it feels refreshing outside. Jodie and Todd are keeping the shoot refreshing as well, with their jocular demeanor. We’ve been walking past groups of people en route to the New Kids on the Block concert (I heard they have a bunch of hits), but I’d rather be taking pictures of Jodie and Todd as they tease each other and make me laugh. This kind of day, capturing two people in love, remind me of why I love working in Indianapolis. This city is amazing, and the people who live here continuously bring a smile to my face. I’m so glad I was able to meet Jodie and Todd and capture so many lovely photos of the two of them.
