March 3rd was not how I expected it to be. The week leading up to it, I actually was able to take my son to the park. We had tornado watches and warnings and thunderstorms. I didn’t expect it to snow.
Can I just say this, even with the weather being the way that it was, the wedding party was awesome! I could definitely tell that they were thrilled to see Cindy and Jason get married. There attitude was- extraordinary. It wasn’t about them, it was about the bride and groom. They were WONDERFUL to work with, everyone of of the teams (Go team Newly wed! Oh you know I loved every team). So I’m quickly making this blog post about them… now for the stars…
Cindy’s dress was amazing. I haven’t seen anything like it. Absolutely gorgeous. Just looking at it I could tell that they were made for each other. It literally looked like icing roses on a cake.
Their catholic wedding ended with kiss, hoots and hollers from the guest, and it was off to the reception in the party bus. We stopped at the lighthouse for a few pictures (along with the groomsmen ploys to get Jason in the water). I loved the colors around the water. It looked like a gorgeous summer twilight. They all handled the low 30 degree weather SO well.
The reception was so fun! People stayed until the late hours enjoying drinks, square dancing like pros, and watching the newly weds enjoy their party. I love Ohio weddings. Someday I’m going to learn to square dance. It always boggles my mind how EVERYONE knows how to square dance. The DJ said they learn it in gym class. Well, I “learned” how to play badminton in gym class and I’ll tell you this, I CANNOT play badminton. I believe it’s in the Ohioan blood.
Jason and Cindy, I wish you both nothing but the best. It was so wonderful seeing you two finally get married. I loved hearing your story and getting to know you both better. Best wishes and keep in touch!
