{Wedding: Meg and David}

FILED IN: Weddings

Steve and I loved shooting this wedding.  Meg has such wonderful style. She rocked her tea length dress like she just stepped out of Wedding Style Magazine and her veil fit her vintage-like reception theme very nicely.
Meg and David were married at the Holy Spirit Chapel in Saint Mary’s College’s campus.  The chapel’s stain glass windows made for beautiful ambiance.  An adoring smile never left David’s face as he saw Meg for the first time walking up the aisle.  The guests’ eyes filled with tears.  The ceremony was very beautiful.

The entire day David didn’t take his eyes off Meg. It was as if he couldn’t believe he was blessed with this beautiful bride.  It was quite apparent that they are in love.

When finding out that they met doing Taekwondo, I had my heart set on incorporate that into the pictures.  We did a few fun poses that I just love.

The reception was gorgeous. I was amazed by the creativity and beauty in the old factory building.  The wooden floors and brick walls added to their rustic decor of old frames, wild flowers, and traveling tags.  They definitely had a travel theme throughout the room, with globes, maps, and other traveling decor.

I loved their spin on the name cards.  Instead of the traditional calligraphic names on a folded card, Meg and David passed out each travel tag with their guests name on it.  They were hanging on a board with the title, “Oh the Places We Love.”  Each table was a place that was special to their relationship.  The table labels ended up being postcards. The guest were encouraged to write a message on the back.

Meg and David’s wedding turned out beautifully and it was a blessing that we were able to witness it!

Thanks so much, Mr. and Mrs. Goldberg!
