We were recently featured in an article on Buzzfeed! We had so many wonderful vendors we worked with and I wanted to give them each a shout out! if you are looking for extremely talented people, you must check them out!
Wedding Planner. Ashley with the Inn did a wonderful job at coordinating and coming up with wonderful ideas to stylized the whole shoot. I know if brides worked with her, she would be a wonderful person to help coordinate, and has some great ideas up her sleeve.
Makeup
I was so grateful to have such a fabulous team to work with during the Wes Anderson Stylized shoot. MaNell Hembree did a wonderful job on the bride, Stevie, and the talented Beth Jerrells with Champagne and Lipstick did our lovely bridesmaid, Rae. Beth was also able to help touch up our bride when needed. Both Beth and MaNell have been makeup artists for my brides and have been featured in magazines and national blogs. They are fabulous at what they do. We truly had an amazing make-up team.
If you are getting married in the Indianapolis/Columbus area, check out Dell Brothers Inc for Tux rental. They provided this amazing suit for our model, Michael Carey. They have a wonderful selection! We just loved working with Dell. They were flexible and had everything we were hoping to find for this shoot, even Mike’s awesome bowler hat. Their number is: (812) 372-4486
Personalized Pebbles provided some really adorable décor for the tables. Everything was customized and would be perfect for a unique touch to the cake table or centerpieces.
Our cake was mailed to us by the wonderful Tarah Fontaine. The front was painted to appear as water colors, and icing was puffed to give it a more 3-D look. Bold jewel colors are going to be big next year, and I just love the pop of color the cake gives to the whole stylized shoot.
Lora from Hungry Heart Vintage did a fabulous job stylizing our bridesmaids (and also made an appearance in the dinner scene). She has a fabulous line of vintage clothing and accessories. You must check them out! You’ll fall in love with her Etsy shop! She also has an amazing blog you need to follow. You won’t be disappointed.
The flowers were one of my most favorite parts of the shoot. I had worked with Farmer’s Daughters’ Market on one wedding this year and fell in love with their work. I knew they’d be perfect for the stylized shoot. The work Jenny did was absolutely amazing, and I couldn’t have asked for a better florist! She was wonderful to work with on this shoot, and I would HIGHLY recommend FDM to anyone looking for a florist in the Indy area.
Lindsey Swanson
Hair stylist Lindsey Swanson created wonderful looks for both of our men, the bride, and the bridesmaid. We were so fortunate to have her creativity and talent for this shoot.
Terri at That Special Touch is absolutely wonderful. She will make your wedding dress shopping experience wonderful. She travels to find the most gorgeous, up-to date dresses. Many of our brides have worn dresses from her shop, and those brides’ dresses have been flawless. Terri isn’t limited to bridal gowns, they carry bridesmaid dresses, wedding accessories, jewelry, and even attire for the groom.
The Inn at Irwin Gardens is full of romance and history. The place is absolutely breath-taking. The gardens is a stunning place for an outdoor ceremony. The portraits that can be captured in and around Irwin Gardens are unique and romantic. I love this location. They were fabulous to work with on this shoot, and I can’t imagine how accommodating they would be to a bride!
Also, I want to give a special thanks to my friend, Ann Lang, for doing all the graphic design (invites, menu cards). She is now in Paris doing design work! Merveileux!
