The clouds began to gather over the Inn at Irwin Gardens. It was just minutes before Hillary and Nate’s wedding ceremony, and everyone was hoping the rain would hold off for just another hour. As Hillary and Nate stood in front of their family and friends to declare their commitment to one another, the clouds decided they couldn’t hold back the rain any longer. As the umbrellas shot up throughout the crowd, one of the bridesmaids popped one open and held it over the bride and groom to keep them dry. We just love it when people display kindness like this.
Steve and I had a lot of fun capturing this wedding! Hillary and Nate were so incredibly joyful and so in love. We absolutely loved the way they looked at one another and the way they treated each other all day. They were so charming. It didn’t hurt that they were at Inn at Irwin Gardens, one of the most charming places in Columbus, Indiana. Plus, the rain that started during the ceremony didn’t let up through the rest of the day, but they took everything in stride. It was great.
