The sun shone down between the leaves, creating a dappled pattern of highlights on the grass below. In this grassy area in the woods, Danielle and Erin stood with their backs to each other. Then they turned to see each other for the first look. It was a stunning moment. We hope you loved this Martinsville wedding with Danielle and Erin!
This wedding was accented with ornate, antique furniture. These pieces really lent a regal look to this wedding and were gorgeous in the photos. One of my other favorite things about this wedding was that Danielle and Erin made signature cocktails for the day. They work as consultants for restaurants and bars in California to help those places market themselves and launch, so I know those signature drinks had to be amazing. Unfortunately, this wedding took place on the day our daughter was born (a month early), so we weren’t able to experience any of this gorgeous day first hand. Many thanks to Lydia and Allison who captured the day so wonderfully in our stead.
A big thanks to all the vendors that helped make this day so wonderful!
- Officiant: Bre Peters
- Danielle’s Wedding Dress: Melissa Sweet
- Erin’s Wedding Dress: AF Couture
- Florist: Flower Boys
- Catering: A Cut Above
- Cake Designer/Bakery: Two Sticks
Also a big thanks to Lydia who was willing to give up a Saturday to associate shoot this wedding. And also a big thanks to our second shooter Allison Mayer who really helped us out again as she worked with another lead photographer that was brought in at the last minute to replace Steve. We can’t thank these people enough for making it possible for Steve to be in the hospital during Adelaide’s birth.

If you loved this wedding, then check out some of our other recent blog posts!
Firstly, check out Danielle and Erin’s engagement session! These two met Steve in the Historic Lockerbie District in downtown Indy for this shoot. This was just a few weeks before the wedding, during one of their final planning trips to Indy.
Also, check out this wonderful wedding with Sarah and Jeffrey! These two had a glamorous wedding at Newfields on the Lilly Terrace the day before Danielle and Erin’s wedding. Steve was supposed to shoot both of these weddings, back to back, but Adelaide had other plans for him.
Lastly, check out this beautiful wedding with Priscilla and Sam! These two had a gorgeous outdoor wedding at the Minnetrista in Muncie. Their wedding also had a lot of dancing outside. It was such a fun party.
Also, I cannot thank their photographer in the bay area enough for recommending our company when these two moved their celebration with family and friends from California to Indiana. If you are in the San Francisco area, check out Zoe Larkin Photography. She does amazing work!
