Sun light filtered through one lone window on the third floor of the Mavris. The rest of the windows were shuttered, casting the room in a dark and moody shadow. Carly sat on a bench on the third floor, illuminated by the window light. Jonathon sat next to her, in the dark and moody shadow. He leaned over, bringing his head into the light and resting his arm on Carly’s leg. She turned her head to him, and they kissed. There were so many great and romantic and wonderful moments like this during this shoot! I loved capturing this Mavris engagement session with Carly and Jonathon!

Lastly, check out this magical wedding with Jessica and Jason at the Mavris! This is wedding is a little older than the other two. Looking through these images it’s crazy to see how much the Mavris has changed. It’s always had a rustic industrial look, but the details in the bride’s getting ready room have been overhauled. It’s such a beautiful venue though and it just seems like all the changes have just made it better and better!
