Regions Tower Wedding with Molly and Matt

FILED IN: Weddings

The orange light of the setting sun shone through the gaps in the buildings in downtown Indianapolis. The light reflected off the windows of the surrounding buildings and filled the entirety of the evening air with an orange glow. On the deck of the Regions Tower, Molly and Matt hugged. They held each other close, their foreheads touching, as the sun set behind them. This was just one of a hundred amazing moments from this Regions Tower wedding! We had so much fun capturing Molly and Matt on their wedding day!

I will not sugar coat it. This was a rough day. On the way to the wedding Steve and I had a minor accident. Luckily, I was still able to make it to the wedding a few minutes ahead of my arrival time (thanks Uber!). Steve had to stay with the car for a little while, so our good friend Ryan Woodall came to fill in for him in the meantime. At the end of the night we were looking at paying Uber to get from downtown Indy to Noblesville. Thankfully, our friend Maiyasa Issa, one of the videographers, offered to give us a ride home so we wouldn’t have to pay close to $100. We are so thankful we have so many great friends in Indianapolis who have our backs in these tough situations, like Ryan and Maiyasa!

Looking back on the photos after editing them, it’s hard to think about how stressful the day was as a result of that accident. All I see are all of these amazing moments that I was able to witness and capture. Everything turned out so incredibly gorgeous! We are so thankful we were able to be present for this wedding!

Did you love the photos from this wedding?

If you loved the photos from this wedding, then check out some of our other recent shoots!

Firstly, check out this amazing engagement shoot with Molly and Matt! We did this shoot at Molly’s grandfather’s house in Zionsville! This shoot has wildflowers and evergreens and a beautiful pond! I enjoyed capturing Molly and Matt at a place that means so much to them. I always love shooting with couples at places that mean something to them, and there are not many places more meaningful than a loved one’s house. The photos of these two are just absolutely gorgeous!

Also, check out this wonderful wedding with Jacqueline and Andrew at Regions Tower! Jacqueline and Andrew got ready at the Conrad in Indianapolis and then left the Conrad to do a first look at the Indiana War Memorial! The War Memorial is gorgeous! After the first look and some portraits, they headed over to Regions tower for their ceremony and reception. They married on the deck at Regions just as the sun lowered in the sky to the point where its light reflected off of Market Square Center, the Gold Building, and back onto the deck at Regions. It was gorgeous!

Lastly, check out this awesome wedding with Lily and Zack at the Mavris in downtown Indianapolis! Lily and Zack had a beautiful wedding at the Mavris. It is one of our favorites!

If you loved the photos from this wedding, then consider booking your next event at the Regions Tower with JPS Events! We love shooting there! So it should come as no surprise that we would also love to capture your event at Regions Tower!
