We interviewed one of our amazing couples, Sigal & Ben, for their anniversary to share some great advice on what you should focus on while planning and also on the day of your wedding. This has been a difficult year for planning events, but I love the advice they have given to 2020 couples.

What were the three most important things for you while planning?
The three most important things to me on my wedding day were the music, the food, and lessening my own stress.
Looking back, is there anything you’d change or wish you wouldn’t have stressed about?
I’m glad that I made sure the food was delicious, but I barely had any time to eat during the day, so I could have stressed less about making sure I personally wanted to eat everything on offer.
What are a couple of tips you have for couples getting married in 2020?
This has been a really strange year, and I’m sure it’s been stressful for couples who aren’t sure what is going to happen to their wedding plans. I would say that the most important part of getting married is knowing that you are choosing your life-long partner, and bringing them into your family fold. That core part of the wedding doesn’t have to change, even as the structure of the wedding might be different.
I do have to say, their music was some of the best & the food at Duos was great. It was a very memorable wedding.
