Regions Tower Wedding Anniversary with Matt & Molly!

I love this time of year. It’s full of celebration. With August, September, and October being our busiest months, we see so many engaged couples becoming newlyweds and many of our past couples celebrate another year of their marriage. Today we are celebrating Matt & Molly and their Regions Tower wedding anniversary! 2020 has brought them to their 1 year anniversary and they have graciously shared their planning knowledge with all our readers!

Planning is hard! What was your hardest decision with wedding planning? Is there anything you wish you would have done differently or didn’t worry about?

Molly & Matt: The hardest decision with wedding planning was deciding who to invite! We had a set number that we wanted to have at the wedding and had to cut out some friends, which was really hard! I also had a very tough time finding bridesmaid dresses – I think I ordered about ten different dresses and didn’t like any of them. Luckily, my mom found one a couple months before the wedding that we loved.

Molly also talked about the importance of communicating with your videographer about video expectations.

You two made wonderful choices on your decor. It was gorgeous. Who did you consult and what tools did you find the most helpful to make your decisions?

Molly: The venue we chose (Regions Tower) had a built in planner/consultant. She helped us decide what to do for all of the decor.. and she was a florist, which was AMAZING because she did our flowers as well. The decor decisions were challenging because I do not have an eye for that type of stuff, but the staff at Regions guided us in making these decisions and it turned out great. I also used pinterest a lot to help me figure out which colors and style of reception I wanted.

What advice would you give couples who are planning a ceremony & reception in different locations?

Molly & Matt: My advice for a couple planning a ceremony and reception in different locations would be to be clear on your invitations and website about where everything will be (where to park, what entrance to go into, etc.) and if there is room in the budget a shuttle/bus service is extremely helpful!!

What was your favorite part of your wedding?

Molly: Matt’s favorite part of the wedding was when they announced us as husband and wife for the first time and my favorite part of the wedding was dancing all evening with friends and family on the patio at Regions. The weather was beautiful and the setting could not have been nicer for a reception. It was such an amazing day having so many people that we care about in one place! I wish we could do it again!

DID YOU LOVE THE PHOTOS FROM THIS REGIONS TOWER WEDDING ANNIVERSARY POST?

If you loved the photos from this wedding, then check out some of our other recent shoots!

See their wedding post back in September of 2019! Matt and Molly’s wedding was romantic and fun! This Regions Tower wedding anniversary post doesn’t quite do justice to just how beautiful their day was. It was the perfect setting.

Firstly, Check out the engagement shoot with Molly and Matt! We did this shoot at Molly’s grandfather’s house in Zionsville! This shoot has wildflowers and evergreens and a beautiful pond! I enjoyed capturing Molly and Matt at a place that means so much to them. I always love shooting with couples at places that mean something to them, and there are not many places more meaningful than a loved one’s house. The photos of these two are just absolutely gorgeous!

Also, check out this wonderful wedding with Jacqueline and Andrew at Regions Tower! Also, they married on the deck at Regions just as the sun lowered in the sky to the point where its light reflected off of Market Square Center, the Gold Building, and back onto the deck at Regions. It was gorgeous!

Lastly, check out one of our most recent wedding with Hira & Ben. We captured their wedding at Cox Hall Garden and we couldn’t have asked for a more gorgeous day and couple!

If you loved the photos from this wedding, then consider booking your next event at the Regions Tower with JPS Events! Also, we adore shooting there! So it should come as no surprise that we would also love to capture your event at Regions Tower!
