Summerhouse Wedding with Holly and Alex

FILED IN: Weddings

Standing in front of short hedge, Holly and Alex hugged. They leaned in to kiss, as the sun was setting behind them. It was a fantastic moment. This wedding is from last year, a week before Halloween. It was so much fun to get to shoot this Summerhouse Wedding at Summer Lake.

Holly and Alex’s wedding was a blast. They had Halloween themed decorations. There were bird, rat, and bat skeletons all over the place. Their guests were encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes for the wedding. There was a Master Chief from Halo, a Santa Claus and a Kim Possible at the wedding as a result. This wedding was just so much fun. Toward the end of the night Holly pulled out a white witch’s hat to wear to compliment her wedding dress. At the end of the night they lit sparklers for their send off and walked out through their family and friends and their Halloween decorations. It was marvelous.

A big thanks to all the vendors who helped make this Summerhouse wedding so much fun!

Did you love this Halloween themed wedding?

If you loved this wedding, then check out some of our other recent work.

Firstly, check out this adorable wedding at One World at Woolery Mill with Megan and Evan. This wedding was blast. It was one of the few weddings we got to do photo and video for last year. We just love getting to capture multiple facets of a wedding in both still photos and moving picture.

Also, check out this sweet wedding at Franklin Barn with Charrie and Jason. This is another wedding that Steve shot alone (like Holly and Alex’s wedding). Last year we had a lot of weddings that just had one shooter due to the pandemic. It was challenging and a lot of fun.

Lastly, check out this whimsical elopement with Megan and Wes. This elopement took place in their backyard. They were surrounded by their closest friends and family due to covid restrictions and it was amazing. Loved being a part of such an intimate wedding. This was another event that Steve captured alone.
